LingocastAccessibility Statement
We design Lingocast to be usable by everyone, including users who rely on assistive technologies.
Standards
The marketing site and web app target Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. The mobile apps follow Apple's Human Interface Guidelines for Accessibility and Google's Android Accessibility recommendations, including support for VoiceOver, TalkBack, dynamic type, and reduce-motion settings.
Audio specifically
Audio is the core medium of the Service. For each clip we provide:
- The transcribed text in the same language as the audio, available in-app and as a downloadable .txt file via the API.
- Variable playback speed.
- Optional sleep timer and background play.
Known limitations
- Some user-supplied private RSS feeds may include images without alt text. We do not modify third-party content.
- Translation and TTS quality varies by language pair; we welcome feedback at [email protected].
