Become a Lingocast Source Provider
Lingocast helps open-license publishers reach language learners around the world — through translated audio in 17+ languages.
We partner with news publishers, nonprofits, government agencies, schools, and Creative Commons publishers who want their content heard by people learning a new language. If your content is openly licensed, we would love to hear from you.
What we accept
We only accept sources that allow all of the following:
- Reuse and redistribution of content
- Translation into other languages
- Text-to-speech / audio generation from the text
Accepted license types:
- CC BY — Creative Commons Attribution
- CC BY-SA — Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike
- Public domain — including CC0 and government newswires
- Direct written permission — a custom agreement between your organisation and Lingocast
We do not accept All Rights Reserved content, No Derivatives (CC ND) content, or sources with unclear or unverified licensing.

For CC BY-SA sources, Lingocast preserves the share-alike requirement on translated text and generated audio where applicable.
Help learners understand your stories
Source providers help language learners access important public-interest content through bilingual audio learning. When your content becomes a Lingocast learning source, it reaches people who are actively trying to improve their English comprehension — a motivated, engaged audience.
Lingocast preserves attribution, links back to the original article, and clearly displays license information on every audio item. Your identity as a publisher stays with your content, always.
